この手の製品が最も活用できる場面は以下の2点を満たす場合です。・大量のUSB機器やドングルを接続する。・それらを同時に動かす（データのやり取りを行う）為、電力がそれなりに必要。【良かった点】私の環境では一度に多くの機材を使用する為に、データをPCとやり取りする用のUSB機器を多く取り付ける必要がありました。マザーボードの使用できるUSB-A端子は6個しかない上に、バスパワーのみのハブではどうしても接続が不安定になることが多かったです。この製品はコンセントから十分な電力を供給することが出来る為、多くの機器を取り付けて動作させる場合でも問題なく使用できました。データ転送速度は約50MB/s程度は規格上出せますので、お使いのPCにあるUSB3.0以上のポートに接続すれば十分です。【気になった点】USBを追加で抜き差しを行うと、接続済みのUSB類が一瞬不安定になる。常時稼働させるUSBデバイスは挿さない方が良いかもしれません。何の動作が割り込んでいるのか知りませんが、とにかくこの謎の仕様が気になります。こちらがかなり気になる為★-1としました。他の使用用途としてはマウスやキーボード、ヘッドセット用通信ドングル等を同時にハブに接続したい場合等が考えられます。とにかく、この製品のメリットは電力を十分に供給することで得られる安定性にあります。「たまに使うUSBやウェブカメラを挿しておくだけ」程度であればより安価な4ポート・バスパワーのみのUSBハブをお勧めします。

最近USB電源を必要とする機器が増えのでテレビ裏に設置しました。サイズは大きすぎず、ポート数も丁度でいいです。スイッチ押すと青いランプで通電が確認できて使いやすいです。

購入後もうすぐ２か月経過。WindowsノートPCで、ポータブルHDD２基など多数のデバイスを接続して問題なく動作してます（もちろんセルフパワーです）。７個のポート全てちゃんと動作します。ただ、ひとつ「あれ？」と思うことがあって、有線のトラックボールマウスが、PCをシャットダウンしてから再び電源投入すると、それだけでは全く認識されず、そこでハブのポートについている個別のスイッチを切って入れなおすとようやく認識されます。ハブをPCのどのUSBポートにつないでも（USB CでもUSB Aでも）現象は変わらずマウスをハブのどのポートにつないでも現象は変わらず、でもマウスをPCのUSBポートに直接つないだり他のUSBハブ（バスパワー）でつないだりした時には現象は発生せず電源投入とともに認識されるので、このハブの問題なのかな？よくわからないのはPCをシャットダウンでなく再起動したときは現象は発生せずそのままで認識されること。う～～んどういうことなのかしら…？

モニターとUSBの切り替え器を使っているので、安定性のため、電源供給できるものを探していた。7ポートあるので機器を接続してもよゆうがある。ポートでオンオフできるのが、なかなかよかった。
